Dr. Ramsudha Narala completed her undergraduate education at Saint Louis University and was granted a scholarship to continue her education at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine where she was nominated to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society for distinction in her class. Dr. Narala then completed her ophthalmology residency at Kresge Eye Institute-Wayne State University in Detroit, MI where she earned the Best Resident Teacher Award and Award for Patient Excellence.
Dr. Narala specializes in both Vitreoretinal Surgery and Ocular Oncology. She completed a 2-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California Roski Eye Institute in Los Angeles, CA where she served as chief vitreoretinal surgery fellow. She then completed Ocular Oncology fellowship where she focused on diagnosis, management, and treatment of various cancers involving the eye at the Stanford University Byers Eye Institute.
Dr. Narala is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. She has published many peer-reviewed articles, authored many book chapters, and has presented at several national conferences. Dr. Narala is committed to providing expert and compassionate care to her patients and will be accepting patients March 2020.
