Daniel Su, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Su graduated Magna cum Laude from UCLA with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated with Distinction in Research.
Following an internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, he completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, where he was recognized with both the Devgan Surgery Award for Surgical Excellence and the Jules Stein Resident Award for Excellence in Clinical Research. He went on to complete a two-year vitreoretinal surgical fellowship at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, during which time he was awarded the prestigious national award from the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation.
Dr. Su has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and textbook chapters on vitreoretinal diseases and has been an invited speaker to present scientific papers and abstracts at various national ophthalmic and retina subspecialty
meetings. Dr. Su is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
